This book really turned for me.... I first saw the the main character as having a lack of social skills, to say the least and a type of handicapp when it came to acceptance and accepting herself. When I saw more clearly the reasons why, from the reading, I took a step back and reevaluated her life. Putting myself in her shoes, I would have reacted exactly the same. The book makes sense and is a real awakening to what highschool has to offer- the bad and ugly is lurking around every row of lockers.
